Job Description

As part of the Sphere Ultrafast Photonics, you will be joining one of the leading companies in measuring and manufacturing few-cycle femtosecond laser technology, with clients in Europe, US, Canada, Japan, and China. After a training period, we expect you to work independently and take complete ownership of a variety of IT projects. You will have tasks related with software and user interface development, and you will integrate Sphere’s IT department. We expect you to develop strong relationships with the company stakeholders to anticipate their needs and propose tailored solutions for different clients. Part of your tasks will include evaluation and selection of the right tools/software to meet the required product needs as well as bringing top quality to our deliverables.

Profile

The candidate should have a Master or Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Physics Engineering or equivalent. Fluent knowledge of English and one of the following languages: French, German, Spanish or Portuguese Proficiency in LabView, Matlab, C, C++ and Java Non-technical competencies Ability to structure own tasks and work independently as well as in diverse cross-functional teams Ability to build relationships paired with excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to properly handle problem resolution Comfortable working in diverse environments and adhererence to the highest ethical standards
