Provedor do Munícipe has the function of listening to the citizens who may consider their rights and legitimate interests at risk by municipal companies and services.

Besides that, he sees to the special needs of some groups of citizens, namely, homeless people, residents in non-municipal housing, ethnic minorities, refugees and migrants, people with disabilities, victims of domestic violence, children and young people at risk, among others.

This service is based on the 3rd floor of the City Hall at Praça General Humberto Delgado. It is subjected to previous booking in the Gabinete do Munícipe, located at Praça General Humberto Delgado, no. 266, on the following days and schedules:

• Tuesday, from 14h00 to 16h30; and
• Thursday, from 09h00 to 12h30.
