As a PHP Developer you will be part of an agile team that follows and cares about the best practices in software development. While working with the Symphony framework, you will be part of a team responsible for a product with a vast technology stack. You will have the autonomy to masterfully develop your expertise.

National and international expected traveling time varies according to project/client and organisational needs: 0%-15% estimated.

Responsibilities

You are good at

• Working directly with the client to ensure the technical feasibility of the requirements
• Service oriented architectures, design patterns and data structures
• Test-driven development and continuous delivery
• Object-oriented programming and Model-View-Controller pattern
• Metrics, performance, and operational aspects that show you care about your code
• Using version control systems (preferable git)Working with docker images
• Applying TDD and BDD methodologies

You rock at

• Problem solving and demonstrable logic
• Building server-side and client-side application using PHP, Javascript and HTML
• Understanding of security and performance concepts when developing and deploying modern web applications
• Using the Symfony PHP framework or similar: Laravel, Yii, Cake or Zend
• Writing unit tests

What you will be doing

• Developing and maintaining features in a collaborative, Agile environment;
• Writing testable code and ensuring the test coverage stays at the agreed level;
• Documenting your code;
• Take ownership of your code every step of the way - from development to deployment and maintenance;
• Diagnose issues in production and devise solutions for them;
• Work both autonomously and collaboratively to complete tasks;
• Be an integral part of solutions design and implementation.
