Job Description

We are building a world class team and would love you to join us. As an Infrastructure Engineer you’ll be part of an agile project team working with all the infrastructure pieces of a system. From writing code to provision infrastructures to driving root cause analysis, all while making sure you have fun learning and building things.

National and international expected traveling time varies according to project/client and organisational needs: 0%-15% estimated.

Responsibilities

You are good at

• Understanding how the Internet and Web applications work under the hood
• Metrics, logs and everything around monitoring
• On premise infrastructure using VMWare
• Containers and orchestration frameworks such as Kubernetes
• Configuration management frameworks such as Ansible and Terraform
• Writing code to automate processes and tasks
• Maintaining applications in a production environment (NodeJS would also be beneficial)
• Experience in parallel CI pipelines with Jenkins, Git CI and other CI automation patterns
• Experience using Bash, Python and Helm to automate releases
• Excellent technical communication and the ability to discuss complex technical issues at an abstract level with non-technical people

You rock at

• One or more programming language such as Ruby, Python, Bash or Javascript
• Roaming around Linux/Unix systems and pinpointing problem root causes
• Feeling humble and motivated by being able to learn/teach others
• Being self-driven and working with little supervision towards a common team or company purpose

What you will be doing

• Developing and maintaining PaaS infrastructure solutions;
• Developing and maintaining CI/CD automation;
• Be an integral part of SDLC design and implementation;
• Integrate observability and log's tools;
• Diagnose issues in production and devise solutions for them;
• Work both autonomously and collaboratively to complete tasks.
