Ad Evolutio is a Software House with a consistent history of developing cutting edge software solutions. It was founded 4 years ago, as a spinoff of 2 other businesses and has seen a marked growth in recent years. The start-up is giving way to a mature technology consulting company, with a tested and proven business model, continuous improvement processes and an increasing focus on management and market. Revenues from technology consulting have grown as new clients have been added to our portfolio, like the Municipality of Porto and the University of Porto.

We are regarded as the leading Portuguese Django development team globally thanks to our track record of achievement and for being the last team organising DjangoCon Europe. Django is an open source Python-based web framework. These are our main areas of expertise: 

Data Science 
Development of data platforms, from end to end, for capacity building in data science. Potential for creating alliances with the Client’s internal teams to cover gaps. Addition of value to any stage of the data pipeline: acquisition, transformation, validation and distribution. 

Location Intelligence 
Integrating georeferenced information in the solutions, from customized maps and GIS data to complete geographic panels with millions of items. With a highly specialized expertise in spatial data, we are able to guide Clients in this rapidly evolving field. 

Diversifying sources of income is already being helped by initiatives in other industries, such as organizing major technology events. We are the team responsible for organizing DjangoCon Europe 2020, 2021 and 2022 and the first edition of Pycon Portugal 2022, bringing to Portugal recognized speakers from around the world. In 2022 we brought to Porto more than 700 attendees from all over the world and we passed the 200 virtual attendees mark.
